Is it possible to have a Member News area? Where members can post announcements and stuff?

I suppose mini-press releases..announcements of some kind. Some members have other comapnies and other projects that they might wish to announce and stuff.

The plugin to handle this kind of feature has its own set of templates. The standard ones are pretty awful.....
