Hi all

I have a conundrum, my client wants to be able to manage one website backend that contains all their products and pricing, and then they want to be able to feed this information into a number of front end websites that their customers can use to buy products. Each front end site has its own branding, domain, product range, price and is targeting different types of customers.

Can it be done? And what is it the best way to go about it?

Thanks in advance

I dont see why not - you could easily hack any off-the-shelf cms or, you could build a process to automatically sync the products tables of each one. That way each site could have its own db but share the same product data. I'm not sure if you would want to sync or keep separate the customer account data.

You might have some issues around duplicate content roll ups etc.

Personally I like multiple domains designed for specific user groups and I think it could be a good idea.
