Can anyone recommend software to run an affiliate program?

It needs to be LAMP

I'm not too concerned about costs, but I am concerned about its ability to scale and track sales / affiliates sanely

The admin side of it is dire - it's also pretty flaky when it comes to handling stuff

It also doesn't have a proper accounting side to it, so you can't easily track your payouts to affiliates (once you pay them the transaction seems to vanish into thin air)

Didn't know iDevaffiliate was so poor, seems like many bid names use it.
Does your hosting CP not have anything built in?

We've been using the build in functionality of aMember, but that wouldn't suit an already build system.

The only others I've heard anything good about are affiliate wiz which is ASP and Start, Promote and Manage Your Own Successful Affiliate Marketing Program

I've never used either though.
