hello, jsut wondering was there anythng worng with a site i m looking at, where they say:

"Please Visit Our Sponsors:

Sponsorship provides financial support for our community."

Basically they are asking you to click the google ads. I have no issue with this as they do, and most do provide good free info. But is it ok/ethical/corrrect that they ask you to click on the ads?

For Google ads, no it is not OK. It is against the adsense TOS.

Actually they wouldn't. Expressing financial gain for the site is against the TOS for AdSense and Referrals. You can "recommend" it however. Typical Google clear cut transparency.
