Hi,

I need to get a website up and running quickly and I'm not a graphic designer. I'm thinking of using Dream Templates. You sign up for €59 and get access to 3000 templates. Am I naive in doing this. Has anyone else any experience of using such sites?

There will be a good bit of customisation to any of these templates. Plus most of them will be terrible and the ones that are good will already be used by a few people.

If you're happy with your own coding skills then you should be ok and able to customize it yourself.

If its just the one website you plan to develop I'd stay away from DreamTemplate.. 3000 templates aint much good to you if you only plan on using one of them.

I'd recommend the likes of templatemonster.com or 4templates.com.. pick out your desired template and pay the $20-$60. Least then your working with one good(ish) quality template rather than flicking through 100's of crap ones.

Of course if you plan on running the site on joomla you can always try joomla51.com ;)
