i dont think that free reciprocal linking really is of that much value. I'd concentrate on one way back links from quality sites with related subject and high pr.
Undoubtedly dofollow is more advisable and advantageous in terms of link building, but it terms of getting traffic they are almost the same. You can also get direct traffic from a nofollow blogs.
