€175 is fairly steep. I went to dContruct in Brighton a couple of years ago and I found the whole thing a bit tiresome. I didn't learn a whole lot that I needed to learn or that I didn't know already and the whole seminar seemed like an exercise in self-promotion for a lot of the speakers. I will probably give FOWA Dublin a miss.

175 euro - not sure if that's high or low... a lot of the events I go to last longer and cost less per day ...

I guess it depends on what you're getting for your money. Listening to speakers promote themselves and their companies holds little value for me. If it was a day long tutorial learning, say, a specific skill then I would be happy to pay considerably more. But I don't know why I would pay for someone else's promotional exercise.

Don't get me wrong, I love Carsonified and the FOWA/FOWD brand but this seminar just wouldn't be for me. I'd probably go if it were free.
