Long Title Tags

If the title tag is too long, will I be considered Spammy by Google etc.

What do you guys recommend? At the moment I am using quite a long title tag, with lots of key search phrases in it.

Depends how long "long" is ..

It's not going to be considered as spammy. If you exceed the amount of character that your title tag should have, Everything that you include won't show up in the search results. When writing your title tag you must make sure that you keep it simple so that everything can be displayed in the search result.
