is there a way to configure google alerts to only alert of irish results? i am currently using the work around of including the word "ireland" in my alert.
Apparently (since source is a squidoo article, so I wouldn't necessarily trust it) you can add "location:ireland" or "location:ie" and that should do it. Haven't tried it though.
just create your alert keywords and then place site:ie and that will search only irish websites. using any of the google search boolean techniques works in google alerts
