Nice design, I like the site.:)

One small typo I found... On the "Compare all packages" page, 'acess' is mispelled twice at the bottom of the technical details.

main page: nice, I would give ALT attributes for

also add the width and height to avoid browser redraw.

I'm not sure about the image (Linux VPS Basic)
when you could use text.

META tags should be taken advantage of...

Nice I like it.
Some points:

use absolute path for src files (css, JS, etc) also for the links
some form input missing "/>" closing tag which is ">" (for validation purposes only.
No "H1" on the page?
The size of the font is very weird on the sitemap page: Site Map
and the page title is too short (same with privacy, Acceptable Usage pages)

got to run...

A case study / what can I really do with this might be nice ...

You say "E-mail, personal sites, basic business sites, simple shop, blogs and portfolio sites." and that is nice ... but ... either some stats / how a customer has used it and performance stats would be nice :) so it puts the burstable 250mhz CPU / 256mb ram into perspective

Hmmm... See the problem with case studies is you need cases to study :)

Now we could lie / get inventive, but that's not really our style, so until we get a few people on there we can't do it

Something else I noticed using IE7
The page keeps flashing on the screen after loading.

also FF shows the following errors:
<!-- end of content --></div> (unexpected)
Code:
div id="top-bottom"><img src="/fileadmin/images/green-bottom.gif" alt="" /></div>
duplicate div on the page it seems the footer has the most errors as duplicated div id's (change to class instead if you are going to use the CSS style more than once)

check this out, might help: blacknightvps.com | SEO Website Analyzer Project

Not specific to the vps site but in the forums the logo image doesn't work on win/IE6. It looks... weird... for want of a better word.

Also: What the hell does VPS mean?

Good looking design. Just a few things..

The inclusion of the skip to content thing makes no sense to me. There isn't much of a fold in the site and the rollover appears each time I move my mouse to the URL bar which is quite annoying. An image linking to the site content would suffice if you wanted to make the site more accessible.

I think more consistency on font and font colour is needed too. The badges for each type of hosting look odd for example. The heading colour is blue and underlined while the other similarly styled headers (domains / hosting / account / support) are white and not underlined. I think the blue headers would like nicer white. The two buttons on the bottom of each of the badges would look nicer if they were white and bolded too in my opinion.

This image http://www.blacknightvps.com/fileadmin/images/search-domains-simple-bg2.png doesn't fit right for me either. It looks odd having green bubbles so close to the black bubbles, especially when the green ones aren't properly visible. I would probably remove the magnifying glass and increase the size of the search box as it is quite small as things stand.

Not sure what the significance of a meta tag generator is in relation to VPS solutions.

More content is required about VPS (what it is / differences between packages / etc) as was previously mentioned.

The site is slightly broken in Safari 3 on OSX too. I can see speech bubbles and some overlapping.

New updated version of the site now online.

The main thing we've been working on is the actual ordering process - the original one wasn't that intuitive, so hopefully the new one will be a little bit saner
