Not being re-directed - new?

On my set-up when I press the "take me to Google.com" button I get re-directed to G.ie, today on my sons' PC I get there.

Is this new or down to my set-up?

I haven't seen it myself and I'm using that option a lot. Something at your end?

If you have the google toolbar installed it's in the options of that of what site to take you to, i.e. .ie, .co.uk, etc.
