Problems with WP Trackbacks not redirecting

Has anyone ever had problems with WP trackbacks?

My trackbacks have never worked since day 1. The normal behaviour is that a GET request to the trackback URL redirects to the post.

For me I just get a 200 response and no redirect.

Searched high and low and can't find anything on this.

Hoping someone might have a solution or some suggesions.

Will take a look and try disabling all plugins to see if perhaps one is causing this.

Have you got access to the server logs?

I find that you can debug a lot of these issues a lot more easily while tailing logs

Shared hosting - can only get access logs from cpanel.

Appears to be sending the 302 header just not sending an address, just '-'.

Must be something in WP I think.
