go on then .. this is a reskin of previous static content.

nurseoncall DOT ie

only viewed by me in IE6 & firefox 5.0

Designed to be lightweight and 'hopefuly' easy to navigate.

Has backend cms for payrates, interviews, & jobs board.

Developed to be scaleable & allowing expansion of backend to extend lifecycle.

24 hours web development. 2 images purchased. Came in at just under a grand excl. VAT.

No idea if its standard complient, but certainly think the client got full bang for his bucks.

It's actually nice. well done.

The only thing I'll be looking to fix is the top of the page:

NURSE ON CALL

Nursing Services and Recruitment

The style bold makes the text not very nice.
Try a different font or create an image out of it so you can smoth to edges.

I remember a website I designed for this customer, really nice graphics, optimised to be fast loading and it looked class.

When i show it to him, he said it was too much for his business. he wanted something simple, just text and square boxes.

cheers 4 the replies. The bold fonts are exactly as corporate ID.

I'd say google will prefer running into an h1 & h2 tag with the keywords 'nurse' & 'nursing', rather than an image at the top of the page.

Anyway, jobs done - so discussion over me thinks. onto the next victim ...

lol. If you make an image you can use the alt tag or title tag (if link) to help search engines read it.

I know the job is done but it is your own image added on to it, do u know what I mean?

To be honest, my first thought was that it was an escort or porn site of some sort. The picture is a little odd.

I'm with rsynott as regards the pic... first impression was that it was for strippograms or something of that ilk....

Maybe that says more about me that about the site :)

the pictire is their company logo.

I wouldn't mind doing a porn site though.
