Submit an Event Script

Hi guys,
Has anyone come across a php/mysql script which allows users to submit events to a website? A sample of what I'm looking for is featured on this website Event Guide - SMOOTH, LIKE MURPHY'S

How are you going to display the events?

Maybe you need some kind of calendaring type of thing...

I've come across a few gig guide type solutions on Hotscripts and Sourceforge

Looking for something similar myself for spoilt.ie. I have received a few bids averaging around the €100 mark to get it custom built (our developer is tied up making money while i find ways to spend it) but let me know if you find something.
