The first thing I would say is never let people list for free. Even if it's only a euro, charge them. I say this because people get sloppy and only fill half a profile, wont upload images etc and basically lower the tone of the site. Then nobody will ever pay. Populate the site with your grannies profile if you have to and keep it looking busy and fresh with a news update or blog.
