Advanced Search shortcuts

I cant put my finger on a nice list of Advanced Seach options Ive used in the past (by sticking various character/numeric combinations in search engine find fields). Anyone got a good link to share. Ive spent almost an hour seaching now. Something more detailed than this example. Im esp interested in the neat little trick to search without ones history influencing the results (Im not talking about changing the actual browser settings). Thanx Peeps.

Got it!!! Knew I had seen it someone and the award goes to our very own IWMF Michael Brookes website which is where I finally recalled reading it.

And the summary of what I was actually talking about was Depersonalising Personalised Search with the addition of &pws=0 at the end of any search result URL.
