Hi,
I've a basic question. If I was to rent a 2u space in a datacenter for x euro a month do I also need an isp to provide me with internet bandwidth? I saw the following but I'm not sure if it refers to internet bandwidth or internal datacenter bandwidth:
Bandwidth
Mesh Burstable Bandwidth, 95% Percentile Billing

0 – 1 MBit/sec € 150 / MBit / Month
1 – 2 MBit/sec € 130 / MBit / Month
2 – 5 MBit/sec € 110 / MBit / Month
5 MBit/sec + € 100 / MBit / Month

I also saw this which I'm guessing is what the data center charge me for interconnecting my isp to my server?:

Provider Direct Interconnect

Interconnect €25.00 / Month

thanks

It depends on the data centre.

Some will provide:
- space
- power
- cross-connect etc to bandwidth providers

Others will give you:
-space
-power
- bandwidth OR cross connect to bandwidth providers

That looks like info from the CIX website.

In that case the per Mbps rates are for transit to the internet, the 25 euro flat fee is for a 'cable' to connect to another carrier / ISP that is in that facility.

Many datacentres provide 'aggregated' services, where you get colocation space, power, connectivity to the internet, as well as monitoring and support for a flat monthly fee. (PM or email me if you'd like pricing from hosting365)

You've already been warned about pimping your services. The OP is not blind and is probably more than capable of finding your website

Consider this your last gentle warning
