Google Shutting Down Feedburner in October 2012

I thought this might be of interest to people. Google is apparently closing down the Feedburner in October 2012.

Prepare for goodbye Feedburner in October 2012

I don't see much from Google apart from a big red strip at the top of https://developers.google.com/feedburner/ saying it is to be shut down. This could cause a lot of hassle for a lot of people.

No - they're shutting down the API in October. They haven't made any announcement about the service itself - and it's not clear if they will or not

Kinda feel a bit silly now. Must do better.

Still you imagine Google might want to clarify things a bit before eejits like me start telling everyone the service is shutting down... oops too late!

slightly off topic, they bought Feedburner, right? Seems like another of the online divebombs after purchasing...
