Parked Domains and SEO?

Hi Everyone,
Lately I have been looking into Drupal a CMS which allows you to run multiple websites from a single installation. So far I have achieved this by creating a Cpanel account in at my hosting company and parking one domain on top of another.

This allows both domain names to point to the same document root on the server.

Both domains return 200 OK header status.

So for example:

example dot com = 200 OK
example2 dot com = 200 OK

Both sites are driven by the same code, but have their own database and separate content. To me this seems like it should not be a problem.

However I've noticed in Google that it appears to see the websites as the same and content from 1 appears in the other in the SERPS snippets.

I have not started to really build each site, so can't really comment much further, but so far it appears I could be penalised.

Any suggestions / recommendations? I personally feel it shouldn't be something I need to worry about provided each site is unique in content. Just wondering if parking is frowned upon?
