Problem seeing additional added graphic functions

I recently added a few graphic buttons to the back end of a clients website ( administration area ) I can see the functions on my browser but he can't, on either IE8 or Firefox. I changed the image from graphic to text but he still can't see it. I have disabled his firewalls ( Avast) and changed to a few different service providers just in case it was a setting on their firewall - but no joy! I am drawing a blank at this stage - Any ideas?

View source of the admin pages ... and check where your images are located ... make sure you can actually see them and they aren't pointed at localhost or something similar

Disable your local webserver and see if you can see the images

Also have you altered your local hosts file for dev work ? and forgotten to change it back so you're seeing something else ?

Is he looking at a cached version of the page?
Or is the file authority on the images set preventing him viewing them (should show up in the server error log)?
