I've seen others where the "sales person" walks onto the screen and starts their pitch....

I'm doing this sort of thing at the moment although on an amateur scale compared to the "big guys". Here's one of my recent attempts. Supposed to look like the guy is walking out of the picture:-

It's just a matter of filming someone in front of a green screen and using the correct software to convert the footage to flash video for insertion onto a web page. Tools needed are quite expensive though. You would need Adobe Ultra CS3/4 in order to get the best output. This comes as part of the Adobe Master Collection which costs a few grand .....
