Spamhaus errors blocking my email?

I'm starting to get a lot of blocks on my email lately and it's really starting to annoy me. :mad: Every second time I restart/turn on my machine, I get an error message trying to send email and have to restart my router.

I know this has something to do with the IP address I'm assigned when I start-up but is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening so often?

Ah-ha, came across this little blog post which seems to explain why this is happening to me.

Damn BT and their inefficiencies :rolleyes:

Oh well, at least I know how to get around it now, wake up at 6am to reboot my router :p

It's a catch 22

None of us want to have to process the spam, so we block using SpamHaus. The ISPs don't seem to check their DNSBL listings and you, the end user, suffers ....

It is catch 22 I suppose, although the link above seems to suggest it's down to BT's billing inefficiencies? But I don't see how their crappy billing system could require the re-issue of IP's? Surely that system is all internal. Oh well, guess I gotta live with it...
