We all know to steer clear of certain domain registrars but a friend of mine is having major trouble with RegFly. He renewed his domain, has reciept and they took payment. They've cancelled his domain prematurely and insist that it was never paid for. That was the one time he actually heard back from them. Major hassle with them and no way of getting the AUTH code. Now their site (regfly.com) is down. Anyone know what is going on?

They lost their accreditation and seem to have rebranded (see: RegisterFly Rebrands? )

Since losing their accreditation they can no longer claim any direct affiliation with ICANN, however that does not stop them from selling domains via another registrar
