Alternatives to vbulletin?

What can people recommend as alternatives to vbulletin?

Not in vbulletin's league at all but I like:

There are few out there but I highly recommend PhpBB3 or SMF...

I am using MyBB on Forum-Irlande
The best thing about it is that in three years of activity the forum never got spammed. My guess is that the spammers target the solutions with most users (PhpBB for the forums , Wordpress/Blogger for the Blogs) and that using a less popular alternative is a good spam filter.
But the negative aspect of MyBB is that the community is smaller so less plugins and mods are made available.
