Not at all surprising really. The ROI for this kind of message board is also going to be very low.
Yeah. If it was attracting a more global audience it might earn a bit more, but it would also attract loads of annoying spammers (it already does, but they're at a controllable level)
That's still not displaying even though I changed it... I'll have to look into it further...

How about the ability to add tutorials which could be tagged by the users as good/bad, beginner/intermediate etc. It would probably bring in new users who are more likely to click on your ads. When I get used to looking at a website my eyes learn to filter out the ads so it never even registers with me what they are ads for.

1000x800 pixel image at 70% compression is coming out at 245K here ... hmm...
Default high quality in Photoshop is 60% which drops this further ...
It might be handy if you want to upload a work in progress screenshot ?
maybe 300K ?
(just rough figures I know it'll vary)
That said I rarely upload files ... but do link to files on my site which may disappear and no I won't upload them to "Free" image hosting sites
I should probably just have an area that I won't remove files from ... but ah screw it
